The New Informer Smoke Alarm System

The New Informer Smoke Alarm System provides a safe and reliable companion for the deaf and hearing impaired. In the event of a fire the alarm system alerts the user by means of sound, flashing strobe light and also features a powerful vibrating pad to be placed under the pillow of the bed for use when asleep.

DESCRIPTION
Power Supply:
The unit is mains powered with integral built in re-chargeable battery back-up facility.
A moulded three pin plug incorporating transformer enables low voltage wiring on system installation.
Control Box:
The control box has an integral strobe light, input socket for alarm clock, input connection (eg door bell or heat detector), vibrating pad and output connection (eg strobe light/co detector). Provision for the connection of twelve smoke alarms. The system has a primary fail-safe design so that in the event of a wiring fault or equipment failure the unit will signal. Positive plug in connections are used to enable easy installation and provide continuous and reliable connections in this life saving unit.
Smoke Alarms:
May be optical or ionisation type (batteries not required).
Operating Lights (LED's):
Green and red LED's for power indicator and alarm condition.
Test Button:
Tests complete system including smoke alarms, strobe lights, vibrating pads for circuitry and integrity.
