This vibrating pad is part of the Informer smoke alarm system for the deaf and hard of hearing.
It is designed to be connected to the Control Box and be placed under the pillow where the user is asleep.
In the event of a fire the Informer system will activate the vibrating pad vigorously to wake the user..
